The European elections will take place from June 6-9, the outcome of which is extremely important for the future of the continent. To encourage others to take part in this election, we have hoisted European flags in front of the KIRCHHOFF Group establishments.

“The federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in particular is dependent on a strong EU with a smooth internal market,” says Arndt G. Kirchhoff, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the KIRCHHOFF Group and President of unternehmer NRW. “The flags, which are clearly visible throughout the country, can make people more aware of the subject of Europe than they have been up to now. The higher the turnout, the more democratic and better the future European Parliament composition will be.”

The companies who are members of the Association of unternehmer NRW are raising the flag as a sign for Europe in the month before the election. Unternehmer NRW represent the interests of the employers’ and trade associations in NRW, whose president is Arndt G. Kirchhoff. He encourages approximately 80,000 partner companies of the association to also hoist the European flags in order to emphasize the importance of the European elections.
