Supplier of the Year Awards
This year’s Supplier of the Year event took place in Krakow, set against the historic backdrop of one of Central Europe’s most beautiful cities. The event once again celebrated the exceptional achievements of its top suppliers and highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in a rapidly evolving industry.
Warm Welcomes and Clear Messages
Klaus Lawory, Vice President Procurement, emphasized the value of trusted collaboration: “Without you as a partner, we can do nothing.” He stressed that longterm success is only possible through close and reliable partnerships. Host Pawel Cygan, Managing Director of KIRCHHOFF Automotive in Poland, said: “I am proud to welcome you as host here in Kraków—just one year after the 25th anniversary celebration of our Mielec plant.” He highlighted the continued growth of the Polish sites and their increasing importance within the company’s global production network.
Partnership as a Key to Success
Dr. Jochen Luft, Member of the Executive Board & COO, underlined the relevance of partnerships in today’s challenging global environment in his speech: “Partnerships are more important than ever.” In a special gesture of appreciation, he delivered his congratulations in Spanish, German, and Czech, quoting Mother Teresa: „We can do things you cannot, you can do things we cannot; together we can do great things.”
Honoring the Top Suppliers of 2025
Three companies were recognized this year for their outstanding contributions:

- Exlabesa (Spain) for outstanding performance in aluminum extrusion parts
- DEL (Czech Republic) for first-class cooperation in industrial automation and welding systems
