Manchester Plant Awarded Industry of the Year 2021

In recognition of their contributions to the community and quality of life in Manchester and Coffee County, our Manchester plant has been awarded Industry of the Year.

With this award, the Manchester City Chamber of Commerce recognizes an industry they feel works diligently to promote economic development and improve the quality of life in Manchester and Coffee County.

Amanda Martin, Human Resources Manager, and Jason Smith, Plant Manager, received the award. In their acceptance speech, Jason Smith spoke of the early history of Stephan Witte & Comp, which led up to 237 years of a leading family-owned automotive supplier. Amanda Martin credited the Manchester Plant’s award to the Vision and Values of Social, Environmental, and Cultural responsibilities instilled by the Kirchhoff family. She stated that KIRCHHOFF Automotive “understands that our actions must be compatible with the interests of society”, concluding with KIRCHHOFF Automotive’s values “that art, music, literature, traditions, and beliefs are important factors in our quality of life and therefore we eagerly promote them.”

The grand awards gala was held on January 27 at the Coffee County Conference Center. This gala is the Chamber’s biggest event of the year and provides an opportunity to recognize their sponsors, present the annual report, and present awards to businesses and industries within the Manchester community. At the event, KIRCHHOFF Automotive was also noted as a supporter of the Arnold Community Council, Come to the Table in Tullahoma, the United Way of Highway 55 and other notable organizations.
