After more than one month of careful preparation, the first Family Day and 2023 Year-End Party of our plant in Shenyang, China, was held grandly in Shenyang Royal Wanxin Hotel on December 9th.
More than 200 employee families and nearly 400 employees were invited to this event. With varied interactive games, colorful handmade gifts, wonderful performances, delicious food and drinks, and generous gifts, everyone enjoyed this special evening.
2023 was the 10th anniversary of Shenyang plant, and the past three years have been the fastest and busiest growth period for the plant. During these three challenging years, the colleagues in Shenyang have worked together to deliver outstanding results in plant expansions, new equipment investments and new project launches in frequent pandemic lock-downs. This family day was not only to celebrate the 10th birthday of the plant together, but also to reward all the hard-working colleagues and their families for their support behind.
Different interactive games should encourage the employees and their families to work as a team and compete together to achieve victory. A traditional cultural New Year bazaar, a fun table games area and a tea break area were also provided to create more New Year’s atmosphere. The Family Day was a perfect combination of indoor sports, entertainment, relaxation and family interaction. Blue KIRCHHOFF Automotive backpacks could be seen everywhere at the event, and the sound of joy and laughter was overflowing in every corner of the venue.
In her opening speech, Wen Leyendecker, Managing Director China, appreciated the achievements of the Shenyang plant this year and thanked all the employees for their hard work and their families for their understanding and support. She announced that more new projects will be put into operation and SOP in Shenyang in the future.
The best employees, the best project teams and the best proposals for continuous improvement were recognized for outstanding achievements. The ceremony ended with a choral performance by the Chinese management team, which opened a brand new chapter for the Shenyang plant.
