The pre‑Christmas season saw employees of KIRCHHOFF Automotive in Germany and Portugal come together for a heartfelt initiative: more than 125 children could look forward to Christmas presents.
A total of 175 employees took part in the traditional “Wishing Tree” campaign and selected gifts for children supported by local social institutions or for families within the company community. In Germany, the presents have been handed over to SOS-Kinderdorf Sauerland in Lüdenscheid, Jugendhilfe Iserlohn-Hagen, and Caritas Iserlohn. In Portugal, the children directly received their gifts.
“We are delighted about the strong commitment shown by our colleagues,” say Jennifer Padberg and Daniel Kramer, HR Managers in Iserlohn and Attendorn. “It is impressive to see how many of our employees support children in our region with such heartfelt dedication.”
“The initiative had a very positive impact on our employees and the families of the children who received the gifts. All involved gave us very positive feedback”, also says Sónia Mota, HR Manager in Portugal.
With the Wishing Tree campaign, KIRCHHOFF Automotive employees demonstrated their social engagement and brought Christmas joy to children living in challenging circumstances.
