For a few years now, KIRCHHOFF Automotive has made reading material available to its employees in special bookshelves at some of its plants. So why not read a book again? Especially on the occasion of the International Book Day on April 21, this is a good idea.
The first bookshelves in Attendorn and Iserlohn were stocked in 2020 with books from the library of the late senior boss Dr.-Ing. Jochen F. Kirchhoff, whose birthday was April 21. Now, about 10 to 15 new books are added twice a year, and they are almost always lent out immediately. After six months, employees are allowed to keep the books. They are also allowed to put their own new books on the shelf and offer them to others to read. The bookshelves are now in place at five KIRCHHOFF Automotive locations.
