• Provide technical support to all users within the organization including computer maintenance and troubleshooting user problems in an effective, efficient manner.
• Provides customer support by trouble shooting any problems and/or concerns and is responsible for performing all computer maintenance.
• Maintains a complete inventory of all computer equipment and peripherals.
• Is responsible for complete configurations of user computers so that it is ready for use as well as upgrades for both software and hardware.
• Assigns license numbers to all software/new materials received.
• Administers the user and LAN accounts allowing access to local area network.
• Provides non-critical support for Production software issues acting as software help desk for users.
• Schedules and facilitates training programs for software packages used at KIRCHHOFF Automotive. Develops and prepares handouts and training material.
• Administers e-mail, Internet access and functionality.
• Is responsible for all hardware and software upgrades to all applicable devices.
• Participates in ongoing Continuous Improvement processes.
• When required, adherence to the Corporate Policies and Procedures is expected in order to maintain business systems. These requirements will be audited by the Corporate Managers on an ongoing basis.
• Corporate Managers are also to be called upon to support projects.
• Any other reasonable request made by management.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
• Ensures he/she is in full compliance with the laws of Ohio and/or any other province or state, while representing KIRCHHOFF Automotive or during the use of any KIRCHHOFF Automotive provided equipment.
