On 18 April, colleagues at our Hungarian location in Esztergom planted 92 trees in the street in front of their plant, which was recently renamed Kirchhoff Avenue in honor of Dr. Jochen F. Kirchhoff.
The number 92 symbolizes the number of years that Dr. Jochen F. Kirchhoff lived. The street is now truly worth its name, and by the end of May, when the row of trees is officially inaugurated, the maple and acacia trees will already have small leaves.
The first tree was planted personally by the two managing directors of the Esztergom plant – Szilárd Méri and Géza Körtvélyessy. Many other colleagues followed their example.
Tibor Molnár, Esztergom’s chief gardener, also took an active part in the planting, while the lion’s share of the work was done by the team of Kerek-kert Gardening.
Together we have made the surroundings of our plant more beautiful and greener. The end result will be something to admire for a long time to come!
